To reflect our most successful year in business to date, we decided to take our third annual franchisee Convention on the road to Florida for some sunshine, training, and a lot of fun! 2015 brought exponential growth to the franchise with over 70 new territories open, 5 new states, and over 30 new franchise owners. It was only appropriate that the 2016 Convention was the biggest and best yet with over 230 attendees!
We had a wonderful weekend sharing ideas, learning from one another, and welcoming new faces to the MoJo family. CEO, Kevin Wilson, kicked off the event with his State of MoJo address to cover our progress as a franchise so far and our goals for the coming year. Nick Powills from No Limit Agency inspired us all to believe that anything is possible. We also welcomed new ideas and advice on sales from Gary Michels of Southwestern Consulting.
Throughout the weekend, franchisees were welcome to attend a variety of breakout sessions. These hour-long meetings were designed to give franchisees the chance to learn about more nuanced topics in the mosquito control industry and Mosquito Joe specifically. Topics included grassroots marketing, reporting and analytics, budgeting, online marketing, and more!
Of course, we couldn’t leave Florida without having a little fun. A nice sunset cruise gave everyone a chance to mingle and get to know one another before our highlight event, the annual awards dinner and ceremony. This is our chance to recognize some of our stand-out franchisees from the previous year while enjoying great food and even better company. See below for our award winners!
At every Convention, we are amazed at the growth of this company, and this year was no different. Our franchisees are the reason Mosquito Joe is such a successful business. Thank you to all of our franchisees, vendors, and staff who attended this year’s event to make it so special. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year! In the meantime, stay tuned to this blog for regular updates throughout 2016 as we continue to make outside fun again.
