MoJo Corporate Staff

At Mosquito Joe, we have a lot to be thankful for this week. This season we had 170 territories operating in 27 states which means we made more families mosquito free this year than we ever have. It also means that we welcomed many franchisees into the Mosquito Joe family and as we’re growing, we’re so thankful because these franchisees and our corporate staff make this the greatest company to be a part of. We took a minute or two to chat with our corporate office to see what their thankful for both personally and professionally. Some of the answers made us giggle so we thought we’d share with you!

What MoJo is Thankful For

MoJo Corporate Fun Event

I’m thankful for the community that has embraced me at MoJo and VB/Norfolk and has made me feel like this is home.” Kyle Jones, Graphic Designer who relocated from the Chicago area this year!

My Family and Friends.  My Team.  My Health. I know…not creative, but true. Kevin Wilson, CEO

I am thankful for my job and that I work with an awesome group of people. Everyone here is so welcoming and helpful and I enjoy everyone I work with.  Thanks Mosquito Joe! Sharon Lerche, Operations Assistant

Chevy the Monster

I’m thankful for my Houdini wine preserver that helps keep my weekday wine as delicious as possible so I don’t (always) have to drink the full bottle in one sitting I am also thankful for my dog’s ridiculous facial expressions. Someday I would like to make a coffee table book of them. If he could speak it may not be as entertaining, but since he has yet to learn English I have to caption what he’s thinking in my head. And he’s hilarious. Other things I’m thankful for include: seat warmers in my car, peanut butter M&Ms, the ridiculous things kids say, and the fact that everything is always on sale at Kohl’s. Always. As a company, I’m thankful that despite our fast growth we’ve continued to hire great people. And that I have a great parking spot.” Angela Paules, VP of Marketing

I’m thankful for old awkward photos like these that not only remind me of how amazing I was as a child but also give me a good chuckle when I need it. And yes, that’s a Buffalo girl in the making getting her chicken wing on. Tracey Willmott, Marketing Assistant

I’m thankful for Francis and Meechum. They are thankful for Thanksgiving because they love purrmpkin pie and mashed purrtatoes. David Barrett, Financial Analyst

I’m thankful for green traffic lights, the “Alarm 2″ feature on my bedroom clock, and my furbabies who moved 2,400 miles with me to join Mosquito Joe this year.” Jayme Sabo, Director of Marketing

I’m thankful for the Cubbies! And my family of course! Meghan McConville, Administrative Assistant

Julie Green with Husband

I’m grateful for supportive husbands who show up to Mosquito Joe commercial and photo shoots when your lead technician can’t make it at the last minute and you need a star. A day in the life of being married to a marketing gal! I’m also grateful that I’ve gotten to be on this crazy, wonderful ride with Mosquito Joe from day 1. I’ve had a front row seat watching this company grow from the first franchisee signing to the 120th and it’s been awesome. This team is the greatest and I love working with them every single day…well, most days .  Julie Green, Marketing Manager

We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving full of yummy food, warm memories and lots of laughter. If you brave the crowds for Black Friday, godspeed and happy shopping! If you prefer to lay back and do your shopping from home, give your local Mosquito Joe a call. Gift certificates make great stocking stuffers and are perfect for that person on the list that has everything!
